Topic: HELP ASAP! Authentic or fake Chanel No 5 L'eau?
Hi everybody, I'm wanting to buy a bottle of this from eBay sold by an individual seller. I do have a bottle of Chanel Chance that I bought from Dillards and I have done some research on spotting fakes, but I've never owned this perfume and cannot tell for sure if it is authentic. If you all could please look at the eBay link and pictures I have attached in the second link and tell me what you think. Help is much appreciated!!

It's tough, cause Chanel is the most faked perfume brand. However, there is nothing that I could see that has set off red flags.

@Milathewriter I agree. One thing that did bring up questions is the neck of the bottle right below the cap, the white strip doesn't have the Chanel logo like is pictured on the Chanel website. I have seen a few other pictures that have just a plain stripe and no logo, but still that's strange to me.

Everything looks legit. I compared the photos to my bottle and box of 
I'd go for it.

Wow I didn't know the stripe with the logo was a part of the cap, that explains a lot. Well thank you so much everyone! I feel a lot better bidding now.
